I don't get this. Why force someone to pass when they don't want to or their personality doesn't fit that profile? I am happy he finally did it, but I feel Sakaki got no word to say into this and he's way better as a scorer still rather than a playmaker. What I learned from my experience in football is that a team is strong if: 1. You put them in positions that fit their playstyles and personalities. 2. You train them into that speciality long enough to become professionals. 3. Always take their mindset into calculation before any game to see if they can play and if they can provide accurate results from their side.

This kind of a team that relies on the striker can have either 3 MCs and i AMC OR 1MC and 1AMR, AML and AMC with the striker. So it can be done, but needs someone to pass him the ball and for the accuracy of the passes to be twicked for an accuracy of at least 86%.

they are putting him in that position to force him into learning how to pass. someone who has a mind set on only scoring will get marked and cornered the moment they get the ball (assuming the other team is strong enough and considering they want to get to the top they will come in contact with those people). passing adds options for every situation. being a one trick pony just makes you easier to defend against.
